Wall Street Sees Risks to US Relying Too Much on T-Bill Issuance
Wall Street strategists are warning of potential risks should the Treasury rely more on bill issuance to finance the government deficit.
Last week, the department's quarterly survey of primary dealers asked participants to estimate the market's capacity over a monthly and quarterly basis for additional supply that wouldn't cause 'significant price deviations' in T-bills relative to fair value.
